Bing is a great traffic source many often overlook, with most people staying focused primarily on Google.
That’s a mistake and with their increasing innovations may prove to be a big one for many marketers as time goes on.
Been using bing ads for a long time, the results are excellent. I do admit I don’t use bing as an actual search engine myself.

This is the bit i don't understand about the whole 'google killer' mindset. What exactly is it that people are going to use ChatGPT for over google?
Sure, maybe answering questions, but how many google searches are questions? I know the bias here as most people blog/im for a living so it's all we think about, but question answer type queries into google account for a small fraction of its overall use, and it's the lowest revenue generating type of queries.
Outside of that, what is chatgpt good for?
As it stands right now, its pretty useless outside of blog/Q&A and some niche IM type stuff that most people on this forum are into.
The top query right now on google is crystal palace vs tottenham. Type it into chatgpt and it gives you a paragraph about the 2 teams and information about a match that happened weeks ago. Not the match that happened 2 hours ago that everyone wants to know about.
Nike shoes, is also a great term that is every ecom marketers dream to rank high for on google, type it into chat gpt and it'll produce you a paragraph about the company and the shoes. What use is that exactly to anyone trying to buy or sell?
Its a great product don't get me wrong, and maybe in a decade it may be able to give google a run for its money. But it's at a bare minimum 10-15 years away.

Lol, this is so true. The people that make these content are full of garbage. Probably never made a dime online outside of ad revenue from Google.

I use Bing whenever I use Microsoft Edge. It's a great search engine but is currently outcompeted by Google. That's not to say times won't change.

To search for what ? Product Reviews, E-Commerce, Relation Tips, Health Advice, Nearest Barber, How to reach a destination?, Something to watch?, Music to listen to? Programming Solutions? .. I can keep going!
Yeah, it can give you a definition or some word, translate something .. or what is this country. More of wikipedia! It will steal a lot of informational keywords from google if applied correctly! But google will simply get a better AI for these types of queries which will be bad news for webmasters not google.
But all of commercial keywords, we want other human to help us. As a programmer I would take my answer from Stackoverflow over any robot anytime. Because I need the experience part! I need the rating part, and I need to know I can communicate with the programmer.
Will it open latest phones, and try them, do tests, and figure out what was the best phone till now, from design prespective and human prespective!!
I can keep going, but people are really giving it much more than it worth.
Other than content generation tool to spam the search results, I can't see it taking over google in the near future.

I agree but I dont think we are the majority of users. I dont think the majority of users would pick chatgpt right now anyway but I have talked to people that today have replaced most of their google use with it.

Whole GPT still needs a source for all the information that it's spitting out currently.
It got all it's information from scraping websites from Google in the first place.
I don't think it will kill Google.
It's impressive how accurate it is tho.
But yeah, for webmasters it sucks, no source, no credit, nothing.

Well this will be interesting, will be good enought to make eveyone change to bing? it will defenetely do, lately I being using it and it feels really good, I always rejected edge and though chrome was better but I never being so wrong, and this is a game changer now.
