This is probably a very dumb thing to ask but...

I have a client who wants to sell 1 course in his website.

We want to make the checkout as simple as possible, so we need a plugin that will direct the client directly to the cart page with the product added.

I tried using a custom link for that but it didn't work. Does anyone know of a good (and free) plugin for that?

ugh, I don't know to be honest. All I know is that Paypal does offer all sorts of monetization options, like "buy now" and "add to cart" buttons, checkout pages, etc. Just log into your Paypal account and go to the business tools section and you can see there how it works...

Or - since your client sells digital products (ecourses) - you can use a plugin like EDD, or WP eStore, or even Woocommerce I think can work with digital products. You can use any of these plugins if your client uses Wordpress (they only work on WP as far as I know), configure them (a matter of 20-30 minutes from what I remember, although Woocommerce might take longer because that thing is full of customization options), and link up your Paypal's account ID and you're done!

sometimes i wonder to about the freeplugin with powerfull function.
usually do add some custom but this case a litte bit hard than setup the plugin
