If you are deailng with any REAL amount of money through Paypal, Paypal is indeed and in fact eventually going to require full verification. If you have used "stealth" or as we on the street call it, "BOGUS" information to set up that account, Paypal can and will hold your money for 180 days and then be perfectly willing to send you a check made out to the "stealth" or "BOGUS" name with whcih you registered. Your bank might not let you run the check through your REAL account without additional documentation, so you STILL LOSE your money! It's not so much Paypal as US law and since Paypal is US-based, it must follow the law.

Posts titled things like "Paypal keeps my Moneez!", "Stealth Paypal Account Frozen", "Paypal Is Stealing My Funds!" are complete wastes of bandwidth and space on this forum.

ANYONE who has been on the 'net for over TEN FUCKING MINUTES knows how Paypal works and also knows that Paypal MUST follow US law and has no choice in the matter.

If you want to get paid "stealth" there are ways to do that but Paypal certainly is NOT one of them, so why don't you wise up, figure it out and QUIT YOUR BITCHING?

You might break the internet!

OK. I'm done now.

But Paypal was acting like jerk for years BEFORE the US laws got tighter. Even under those laws, it acts more crappy than other less popular processors under the same laws. The problem is PAYPAL.

No. I would take issue with you there and I dislike Paypal as much as anyone. Paypal is a licensed Money Transfer Service and has literally hundreds of laws which it must follow, even down to a few local ordinances. Ever look at your Paypal ATM card? Mine is a Mastercard which means Paypal must also follow the rules of Mastercard! Paypal is licensed in all fifty states, the possessions and territories as well as what, about 80 countries? Paypal has to follow the laws in ALL of them and I am surprised that they can even do business with all that crap going on and is going to err on the side of caution in all instances as losing a license in even one state could cause an snowball effect and put them out of business.

The thing is, that you bloody well KNOW for a CERTAINTY that sooner or later your "stelath" or "BOGUS" Paypal account is going to go belly up becuase you ARE going to get caught. If you're that worried about hiding the money, why not do it right in the first place instead of getting nailed by Paypal and then bitching about it?

idk why ppl need so many fake accts anyways if what theyre doing is legitimate. thats just shady. open an account in your real name and ull never have to worry about paypal sending u notices that ur acct is suspended or limited. so send in the paperwork. cant send paperwork because ur too young, or the name is fake? well thats probably why ur acct is limited in the first place. u also 'agreed to terms' before signing up for paypal.

You've got a pretty good handle on it and touched on some things that I left out. :)

The point is that it is time to stop the monopoly of Paypal, it is time to use some alternatives and make them applicable.

Paypal is acting like it is some kind of god. It doesn't treat us like customers, it treats us like slaves.

This is ridiculous!

Any time you give control of YOUR money to others, you become their slave. The idea is to get paid, stay paid and be able to freely acccess your funds. With Paypal your ability to do these things is severely limited. ;)

Many people get separate accounts under pseudonym BECAUSE they had their legitimate sites, applied for with legitimate info and used to conduct legitimate activity, shut down or limited. Paypal frequently denies appeals from people who submitted 100% real info and documents to restore their limited account, that's just a fact. The anti-Paypal websites, which were not created by BH marketers, have documented this for years, in addition to a myriad of postings on this forum.

Even from a white hat IM point of view, a processor that takes the buyer's side regardless of the details, and provides no protection for the seller, is a crappy processor for doing business, period. Would you put up with a regular bank that shut down your account on a dime, and made you wait six months to get your money? People are black hatting PP because we DO have to worry about it illegitimately slapping users around, and this is one way of slapping back.

OK MR Paypal lover, Paypal can and will abuse your money whether your account is real or stealth. They are what is known as a bunch of c"nts, who have no respect at all for their customers.

I totally disagree with this posting. I have had a paypal account since 1999 and they just suspended my account for good obviously for no good reason. I have a business account and it has been open for over 13 years and they still closed it. they have all of my information legitimately and it still does not work. My ebay account has over 3000 + feedback and I am power seller and top rated seller. This account is still open but I can't use it because I can't accept paypal now that they closed my account for no good reason.

I had my account for 13 years (since 1999) and it 's a business account too but they just recently suspended it for good. Now I can't sell on ebay either even though taht account is fine.

Not to go off topic, but this is why for any large amount of money I always use a merchant account that takes pretty much every major CC.
Only for small amounts under $200 would we take paypal, and even then only on request.

Far too much money passes though to take the risk that paypal will hold money for 180 days (that can severely screw up cashflow).
And yes all the info is correct and legal, but we cannot take that risk.

They reversed a trascation worth $300 from my account which was paid to me in march !!
the buyer told the credit card company that it was unauthorised and Paypal like a DOG obeyed ....
i showed them all the proofs that the service was completed ... but .................
