Everything here are just examples, but the idea is real.

So let's say I'm in the niche of dog training.

    I create 2 products(1 front-end and 1 back-end): Book A and Product B.

I'll sell Book A at a cheap price, and then offer Product B as OTO. Book A is just a normal one-time purchase, but Product B is different.

    You have 2 choices:
    (a) Pay a one-time fee of $97 and get Product B fully.

    (b) Pay $27/month for 3 months($81 total) to get Product B in smaller chunks, which will be sent weekly(promotes taking action).

Product B is a screenshot-intensive, step-by-step program that helps you do something. Default mode of delivery is by sending assignments weekly to promote taking action, but you can choose to instead download Product B(complete) instantly by paying a premium($16).

    Would this idea succeed?
Would YOU pay for something like this in an area you are interested in?

Thanks for all and any feedback!

I can't speak for the population as a whole, but generally speaking I see multiple opportunities for conversion as a good thing. It let's the consumer "pick their poison."

For example, maybe I just want a taste of the subject (whatever the niche is), then maybe I'd take product A. It's a quick & easy ebook which equals instant gratification for me the consumer. However if I'm "not interested in throwing money away to get half-way to where I want to be," well then there's product B. "Oh good, I can have everything easily, and all I have to do is pay more and as a bonus I can decide to pay now or over time."

I think your selling structure is better than trying to make conversions in only one area. However, the quality of traffic and your ability to convert are still going to play a huge part in whether you're profitable in your area (whatever area that is).

    Good luck!

    That's some great encouragement! :)

I'm planning to get affiliates in on this.

    100% Front-end commissions, $17/month OR $57 one-time commission for the back-end. :D
