if you never wrote a line of code in your life you need to start with making basic HTML pages... if you do and know how code works. don't learn java just so you can work for some company
learn java and start making android apps. do a quick google about "reskin" and base your learning on that
reskin is basically taking a successful app like "floppy bird" and change the "skin" of the game like images, and sounds and stuff like that.
but you need money to start with because accounts are gonna be closed. and you need to buy the source code of those successful apps to do changes on the code and make it yours.

there's another reason why I will start with java,
and that's, Information engineering
I am pretty sure that java will be there waiting for my asshole so I will do myself a favor and start learning now before UNI starts.

I don't think that Java will be the ideal option for you. I would start with PHP in order to start making money early. PHP is used for website building, so, this direction is in high demand nowadays.

Why Java? as @HustleTong said, python is a swedish pocketknife. I would consider learning python. Good luck anyway!
