    Today is the 25th Anniversary of W W W

    And google posted this blogpost:
    googleblog blogspot ch /2014/03/on-25th-anniversary-of-web-lets-keep-it.html
    (sorry I cannot post urls yet)

    take a look at all details on that post... look at the anchors on the links
    the social networks everywhere...
    the size of the article...
    and other details...

    it looks like the clear message of how Google wants sites to be in order to be considered "legitimate" :)

    I dont know much about SEO ... so I am sorry if I am pointing to the obvious here...

    It's a general blog post. They didn't nofollow their external links. They don't have ALT tags on their image either. I wouldn't take too much from this post dude.

    Why would they nofollow their external links?
    How much meaning ALT tags on their image will give?

    i dont think of it as a standard post for google guideliness
    the information is very good and the link structure i like it
    its Google dude! what, do you think they'd do sucky posts?
