I've tried one of those, and it was just a gimmick (and a pretty pointless one at that). Maybe they'll perfect the technology some day, but I for one like the physical sensation of pressing the keys.

yup. i just adore to hit my keyboard keys when I write angry and in speed. hitting the table will not feel the same.

Tables don't make that crunchy sound.

Also when I play NFS I sometimes HIT the keyboard swearing and the E and the Y jump around the room. Then I spend another 15 min reinserting the SPACE Key which has some idiot metal legs.

I remember seeing one of those keyboards on pimp my ride, they put one in this web designers car and I thought it looked cool but wondered about how effective it would be. I guess from peoples comments that they arent that good compared to a regular keyboard.
