I have been learning about SEO for the past 5 months or so now and managed to get a website ranking 1st for a 1k exact match keyword after spending 80 dollars on fiverr gigs lol.

I am now trying to get another site ranked and I would like to do it without those bs fiverr gigs that barely get indexed.

I have made sure the on site seo is perfect and the content is extremely rich and unique. I started to rank without a single backlink as i was on the 3rd page within a week. After a few link authority posts my website was on the 2nd page.

For the past month, i've been manually building about 20 high quality backlinks per day as well as used software to create pyramids etc.

I have created many high quality web 2.0s, web 2.0 link push, link wheels, complex pyramids, article submissions, directory submissions, niche related blog comments, high pr ******** blog comments, wiki links and social bookmarks but my site is not moving at all.

I woke up today to find that my site has even dropped 2 spaces and its driving me insane as i am putting hours of my time in each day to create these high quality backlinks.

Should i keep building high quality backlinks because it seems like its a total waste of time for me?

I am also running out of domains to create backlinks. I have created links from basically every web 2.0 service there is and it seems like a waste of time to create more as they are not unique domains.

I think article submissions are a load of bs and I shouldnt waste my time with them. I have submitted to over 2k directories, created 20 wiki links per day for the past month and commented on every single niche related blog i can find.

It seems like i am wasting my time with this as my site is not even moving up and is only decreasing

The ultimate question I would like to ask is, how do you guys keep getting backlinks from new domains and should i even bother continuing to make high quality web 2.0 from the same domains ?

The uniqueness of the articles on my site are 100% hand written quality content, written by me. I understand that diversity is the key thats why i am using all different types of links - article submission, directory submission, wikis, web 2.0, web 2.0 profiles, social bookmarks, blog network posts, blog comments.

The problem I am now facing is that I don;t know where to get any more backlinks from other than blog commenting as I can use scrapebox to always find new blogs.

I realised that the article marketing tool I use submits to the same directories all the time which means that it is pretty much pointless. I have used my directory submitter tool and submitted to the 2k directories on there. I do 20 wiki links per day but they don;t seem to be doing much help.

I basically just want to know how to get backlinks from unique domains on a daily basis. I realised that all the tools I am using just submit my site to the same domains all the time, I need fresh domains. How do you guys go about finding unique domains to post on ?

What do you mean by IP diversity? I think this is what i'm talking about, I am trying to get backlinks from different domains other than the 50 or so web 2.0 domains and 5k article domains which I keep getting backlinks from. Constantly creating new backlinks from the same domains seems pointless to me and I would like to find unique domains so that i can get a huge number of reffering ip addresses linking to my site.

My anchor text is extremely diverse so it looks as natural as possible to Google.

I was thinking something similar to this, only my ideas are directly related to the SEO methods used. I think a variety of methods for ranking #1 are needed, not just one. Also, no matter what way you try to gain more exposure via increased SERP you should be patient. It all takes time.

For your question, in my opinion is do both. Don't give up high quality web 2.0 posts. And as much as possible, do it manually.

By the way, I am experiencing the same. Some of the websites are on page 3.

If you are doing all that work then it will come but can I ask how much competition is in your target niche ? I too have spent hundreds of dollars on fiverr but thats spread across 20+ sites I would be scared of randomly buying gigs for a site that has genuine content
. It's too easy to go apeshit on fiverr get excited and buy a load of gigs, you really need to buy one at a time and test the results. At this stage I have 4 gigs that I buy for every new site that get good results every time. Unfortunately ranking is not an exact science , for every site I get to the front page I have others that go nowhere fast, sometimes you just need to leave a site for a few weeks while you do other things. So not really an answer to your question but you are doing a lot of work that will pay off in time , it just may be a niche with some aged domains ranking well that won't budge to easy...good luck

Yes I understand that diversity is the key that's why I create backlinks from a mixture of different sources everyday. Excuse me for my bad english but you may not be understanding what I mean here.

I am basically asking how to find new unique domains to get backlinks from so that I can make my link profile look as natural as possible. At the moment I am getting backlinks from the same sources over and over, for example I must have about 20+ high quality wordpress web 2.0s as well as 20+ low quality wordpress web 2.0s pointing to my site and therefore creating more links from wordpress seems pointless as hell.

I understand that I can find new domains from blog comments but I would like other domains too so that I can keep my link profile as diverse as possible. I don;t just want unique backlinks from blog comments, I want them from a whole range of different sources.

Basically what i am asking is, how do you guys find unique domains to get backlinks from on a daily basis? I am currently wasting hours of my time trying to find out how to do this and life would be so much easier if I could spend this time actually making the backlinks.

I'm not saying that creating backlinks from the same 30 web2.0 domains is worthless,but you'll get a MUCH better result by using more domains (IP's)

So what are you using to find to find Blogs and domains at the moment ??? .......is it all manual ?

@OP welcome to post-penguin google. Good luck figuring it out. I have spent almost a month doing little else than trying things and having wildly inconsistent results with the same techniques.

LOL exactly. For those who check the serps and do research, you would know this. I see sites with same ip as their feeder/pumper sites. They rank.
Is it WISE? Of course not. URL diversity is one thing, IP is another.

Outside of microsite "here today gone tomorrow" quick blast stuff (where IP diversification doesn't seem to matter at all) - Diversity of IP CAN BE vital.

It seems it takes Google a few months to figure out all your links come from similar or the same IP's.
The very old sort of PR link service had hundreds on sites (domains) spread across just 3 or 4 hosts.
They worked short term, then the sites that they were promoting got totally fecked to kingdom come.
You don't see many (if any) services now thet link from the same IP's. They make a big play of "spread across 120 "C" class" and what-have-you

However...

If you are in the market to make sites that you want to make money for 6-9 months then this tactic still has great leverage.
I have no idea what really happens in Googles algo, but the results I've seen are analoguous to Google crediting the links first of all, then only later checking the providence of them as regards IP spread.

What is rock solid certain though is, if you want links to have a long lasting value then linking from the same IP's is not good.

So it depends;

if you are a product based micro site jockey (which is not a bad thing -you can make a ton of cash with "quick feet")
Or whether the websites you are promoting are ones you would like to still be making you money in 5 years time.

No right or wrong here - just totally different methods and requirements depending on your circumstances.

Why don't you do some actual competitor analysis instead of bumping this thread?
Hint: The BS spouted about domain diversity does not seem to be that important to google as they regularly rank sites with 10,000 links from 100 domains.

If domain diversity matters to you, it's extremely easy to achieve.

I have been analyzing my competitors. I use seo spyglass to check the backlink sources of the top 10 results for the keyword I am trying to rank for. The only problem is, I cannot get backlinks from 90% of the sources where they have backlinks and I spent around 5 hours checking my competitors backlinks the other day and ended up getting 1 backlink.

And you say that its extremely easy to acheive so can you tell me how? that was the ultimate question I am asking so could you tell me how this is extremely easy to acheive ?

Today I've spent around 4 hours and got 3 press release backlinks and 4 social bookmark backlinks from senuke x, 20 wiki links from nuclear wiki gangster. The problem with SeNuke is that I already have like 20 posts and 20 social bookmarks from the same domains and I would like a method so I can find a range of different other domains.

Most of the backlinks i;ve created today probably wont even get indexed and I feel like ive wasted so much time for nothing... I would like if it somebody could tell how I can use my time to get more backlinks instead of getting the same old bs from software...

Should I just continue making links daily from the same domains? I;ve been doing this for so long now and my site hasn't moved from 9th position, which is why I thought I need some domain diversity..

OP, why would anyone share where exactly they are getting their links from? If they did that, within 3 months it would stop working for both the sharer and YOU. Why? Because G reads this forum, it is the all seeing eye.

I believe that all public services are being slammed after penguin, not just the blog networks. This includes common link building services, fiverr, even major services on forums like BST. If it is public, then G will know about it. The only way to get anywhere is to get your own sources and don't share with anyone. Whether you find them for "free" or you pay for them, you keep them to yourself if you want to get anywhere.
