This Is A Dumb Idea!

Do you have any idea how many times I would brain storm to myself and think up ideas and then just before I would make them work or put them into use I would sit there and go.. "wow.. that's a dumb idea, what's the point?"

I've learned a lot of valuable lessons over the past 2 years and there all lessons I could never learn in school. One of these valuable lessons I have learned is there no such thing as a stupid idea.. the only stupid idea is one that never gets put to use.

Hell.. I thought a blog with sexy pictures of celebrities was a stupid idea because it's probably done a lot and who would ever come to it? Well I used a couple torrents initially to drive traffic, haven't uploaded one in oh.. 8-9 days and I doubt they're still even up anyways.. but this blog gets 5-6k/Visits daily now.

Sure, it's hard to convert this kind of traffic but right now I'm just letting it set off AdSense and it's up to $3/Daily now and I don't put time into it.

My point is.. there is no such thing as a stupid idea.. The only stupid question is a question that's never asked, and the only stupid idea is one that is never put to use. If I would've ran with some of the ideas I had in my head 2 years ago, I'd probably still be making money from them to this day but I am not and do you know why? I thought they were stupid and I just didn't do them.

I've bugged the hell out of people with so many questions when I needed to know something.. specially when I was new to IM, I asked everyone questions all day, but I'm glad I did.

I guess the overall point is, if you have a question ask because there's probably a good reason you need to ask in the first place and if you have an idea.. no matter how outlandish and stupid it seems, run with it. It can and will make you money if you just run with it and put it to use.

I'm the inspirational type of guy like Chris Gardener from The Pursuit Of Happiness. If you want something go for it and if you need something take it. I'm sure there are even lurkers on this forum who are how I used to be.

I'm sure there's people lurking or people viewing this right now who are running around in circles and are just clueless what to do and they're struggling to make a dime online. I know you'll probably hear this every time you ask someone "How do I make money online" but you can never hear it enough and that is : You have to take action.

This forum is my over all favorite and always will be because when I first started reading the Warrior Forum and DP when I was brand new I was looking up "How to make money online" like everyone else. All I could find was the same crap over and over.. "Find a niche" "Make a site" "Sell junk"

This site's the only website I've ever found where people openly share profitable $100/$1000/Daily methods all so they can give back to the community. No matter how many methods you're taught, no matter how many methods are shared.. every single one of them is useless unless you stop lurking and start doing.. even if the idea sounds like a total waste of time.. there is no stupid idea accept for the idea you don't put to good use.

I believe that's all for my rant for the day.. I needed a long inspirational type of speech to post before I went to bed.

thanks bro!! that really hits home. I have done the same thing numerous times, and kick myself for not going thru with my ideas!! I think there is something for everyone in this thread!! should be stickied!

Inspirational post, and I have a question from it. How exactly were you using torrents that brought in that kind of traffic? Or was there additional methods you also used?

I've read some posts here on torrents but have to admit I always get lost in them. Not sure why, I'm a pretty smart guy but for some reason torrents seem to confound me and I can never wrap my head around them.

I do pretty well with some celeb sites I have from a ratio perspective, the problem is I just don't get the kind of traffic to really make them worth while and I hate messing with video even though that's effective.

I wasn't doing anything fancy or anything new with Torrents.

I'll put it sweet and simple

#1 - I gathered up large good quality pictures of someone.. say for example.. Alessandra Ambrosio

#2 - I included a URL in there that said Sexy Celebrity Pictures

#3 - I named it "Sexy *Celeb Name* Pictures Collection" and sent it to PB then MN and a couple went to Demonoid as well.. then the next day they were on ISO, BTJunkie and a lot of other torrent search engines.

I also used "100 Sexy Megan Fox Pictures" and just simple things like that. I don't do password torrents or anything like that so that it's a long term torrent and it stays up for a long time. You don't have to be creative or experienced to get a lot of traffic off torrents. Just keep it simple.
