Do you wipe your bum after you've pooped standing up or sitting down?

I personally stand up and wipe but apparently this isn't normal?

I always stand up.
Sometimes I try to do it sitting down because I'm too lazy to stand, but then the toilet paper touches the toilet water and gets wet

See every time I sit down and try it my hands get smeared in poop and doo doo water smh.

I feel your pain.
 
This is a very serious topic that deserves more attention. In my opinion, this thread should not only be pinned in the Lounge but also featured on the home page so that everyone can see it and gain this much great knowledge

That's silly post. There's no right or wrong way. As long as you're clean and wash your hands afterward, ure fine
 
I genuinely have no idea. I've been rich for so long that I forgot how normal people use a bathroom. My butler opens the door, another one announces my arrival, one hands me the golden toilet paper, and the senior hygiene consultant handles the rest. By the time I'm finished, my accountant has already categorized the entire bathroom visit as a tax-deductible business meeting. You peasants are really out here debating whether to stand or sit?
 
standing up just makes a bigger mess honestly. sitting down is way more efficient. definitely an interesting topic for bhw.

it won't make a mess, unless you have a diarrhea and it's dripping, sometimes it actually happens

True and because it gets in your nails it stinks for ages because you can't clean it 100%.

Of course then I bite my nails and get poop taste and regret it.
