I am one of the read-most person in this forum, and I have to say, a bit tiny, agree with what u said, literally from, say 2018 beginning, less quality methods and posts, and some new blood come in (new members) and don't know how to use search functions and ask simple question again and again, though, this is understandable as we were all been there.
Yes, each year, some reputable&knowledgeable old members will disappear and maybe never come back no idea why, But I can still see, many new members who have very professional knowledge and occasionally contribute gold nuggets which very valuable to all of us.
And you should know its like, like a nature, like a society, it involves all the time, everything involves in this world, in this forum, 2016 people all flew into the instagram, 2017 all gambling with coins, in those times I see less methods but all talking about one thing, its like a hype.
Technology involves too, nowadays people like quick stuff, even games, RPG games not that many people love anymore or have time to play it, all go to play Apex, Fornite, people just wanna, get quick results.
Forum is a place, like, full of gold nuggets here and there, you need to keep digging; and when you found a gold nugget, you smile like a fuxk, because simply, you learned sth from it.
For very very new comer, newbie, noob, I always suggest grab a book, combine with youtube videos, good blogs, especially when you want to learn sth new, because those platforms will teach you exhaustible knowledge from ground up, from zero to hero, whereas, a forum, full of golden thing, here and there, all shattered here and there, you can't just open a thread and learn sth new for you.
You need spend years to find every gold nugget, gradually.
