arvato is a huge service company (perhaps the biggest here in europe), which is part of the bertelsmann group. among many other things like logistics, marketing and ecommerce they offer financial services, in your case the collection of the open amount.

i don't know where you live, but arvato / bertelsmann is a worldwide group and they will surely not forget the open amount. if i were you i would pay. you never know if you need a business relationship with arvato in the future, because they offer their services to most of the leading trading companies around the world. the telephone number is correct, too. when you have still doubts call the number and compare their bank account details with your e-mail.
