So there are about 5000+ sites that this kid hijacked. All my domains on Just Host have the WSOD. This little punk put me down. Look up your site to see if you made the list. Found a file called mass.php that had all his crap in there. Even if I delete or mod this file - my sites still stay fubarred..

He actually didn't hack it the exploit was know in the underground hacking community, this moron kid just went overboard and exposed it.

Feel for you bud.

How could they let such an exploit be there for so long.

@OP : Do they take regular backups, maybe they could have it then?

They running backups but they are faking number of allowed nodes.
I have one site there (yes, now is blank page) and one joomla site placed just for aging domain, so no visitors, no activities, no backlink/seo stuff, totally abandoned so nothing that can trigger overload or maximum using of resources, but anyway whenever I am checking ftp logs I see log for current day INODES_LIMIT_VIOLATION.TXT
:User ****** has been excluded from system backup due to exceeding inodes limit (http://www.justhost.com/terms-and-conditions). Current inodes amount detected: 547652"

And that supposed to be unlimited plan, for unlimited domains, space, bandwidth. Worst and shittiest company ever!
 
That sucks man. I was hacked twice while using Just Host, that company is absolute garbage.
 
That really sucks. I would recommend getting your own VPS, or possibly purchasing a dedicated server or running your own co-located server.

Since I have been running my own machines, I haven't had a problem like that in quite some time.
 
yes they have to update their OS and applications more often
 
Arseholes. Thankgod I moved my sites to hostgator (nice list though, thats my keyword research done for today lol)
 
Unfortunately it happens elsewhere as well - just got my money site hacked - it's running OsCommerce and the previous day I've noticed some unusual activity with the "contact us" script. The next day it was injected with some crap. Fortunately I've had a script that monitors such activities installed and I managed to restore it quickly, but this is interesting: I've opened a ticket with my host when this whole thing started and he played it down and told me everything was secure, after the attack I added to the ticket - today I got a message that the ticket is closed - went to check it - it's completely gone! It's like admitting that they goofed!
 
I hate these dumb kids so much. I would cut of that little mother fuckers fingers off so he never be able to touch a keyboard, nor anything else, and then i'll rape his anus with his mouse.
