So this is my third journey post. My first was me trying out clickbank etc, and the second was ali express drop shipping. Both are viable methods, but I was spending too much money and not earning a penny even with rather high engagement - for shopify I simply just ran out of money.
I'm reverting to my original plan which is in the gambling niche. It's a tough one granted, but I have an established site with an aged domain that I bought out of sheer luck for £8 (before I knew anything about metrics). The DA is 17 so not brilliant, but surely enough to get going. My site has about 40-50 articles of at least 300-500 words and now I am trying to do a little bit of work on it each day.
I've worked to get it as optimised as I can for pagespeed and added ssl. In terms of these metrics, I am better than the majority of the top 30 sites for major keywords, so I hope that gives me an edge.
I also logged into an old youtube account I had from 9 months ago from when I made a really lame attempt at promoting casino affiliate programs (way before I made the site which was about december). Hopefully will be able to create some basic videos, though I am not sure what to do for them.
Got some ideas for the next batch of content to add and I need to optimise the site for some keywords that I have found.
My aim is £1000 a month. Can be easily achievable if I capture some high rollers across the various brands I am promoting.
