Okay, I've probably said this before, but I am acquainted with a few successful site owners on Clickbank.
Well, one of them was seeing some decent success in terms of popularity, but the gravity was not great by any stretch (that was Saturday).
Well, I'd been tinkering with a little idea I'd had for successfully monetizing longtail affiliates, making it easier for the longtail to make sales. In doing so, anyone who could incorporate this would see an increase in gravity, so the affiliates win (more affiliates are able to make sales) and the vendor wins (higher gravity). So, I spent some time helping this guy set it up, and I told him what he would have to do with his resources to maximize it.
As of now, his gravity is up over 150 HIGHER than it was just three days ago.
All it took was a little unorthodox thinking, the action of figuring out how to do it, and the follow-through of actually doing it (much respect for him being able to follow through so well).
Guys, it really does make life in IM much easier if you're always trying to think outside the box.
Don't be afraid to try new things out. If they don't work, then they don't work. I'd say only about 1 of every 4 things I try out actually work ... but when that fourth thing comes along, it makes my business model more profitable. It makes me money.
Try things out. Test them. Make it a goal to try at least one thing new every month, that you've never heard of, or at least that you've never tried.
I hope this helps inspire someone on here.
