Thinking of Starting Blogging - Advice Needed

Hey

I'm a college student. I'm studying International Business (Management).

We learn about marketing, financial accounting, principles of economy, economic & political development, international & European law, innovative opportunities, building sustainable business, consumer behavior, personal development & management skills, etc.

I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to summarize the chapters of the books that I read into articles and publish them on my blog?

For example, my Principles of Marketing book consists of 700-800 pages divided into 20 chapters.
Every time I finish reading a chapter, before continuing to the next, I will summarize the whole chapter into an article and publish it on my blog. And this for all my courses - until I graduate.

Is this a good idea? Sincere and truthful advise only!
Where do you see a blog like this in 5 years, if I consistently keep publishing articles on it?

Yes, thats will be easier to learn and you will probably get quality articles

Ranking in SERP and earning money from the blogs is not only depending in keep on posting content. You have to make sure you are getting decent traffic. You should know the every possibility of making money from your blog/site.

make sure you don't copy-paste stuff from it as that would be plagiarism and could get you into trouble. Ofcourse you can summarize it. It would be difficult to tell you where you will be 5 years from now. People usually like to learn from experienced people who have tried stuff. You will have to implement those lessons in some business, show them results or some data and then they will listen to you. Build yourself as an authority and then your blog will definitely pick up.

Yea thats not a bad idea, I read principles of marketing and found alot of the material pretty useful for the daily businessman. Im studying a discipline of Management also, and like that textbook, alot from that bachelors can be summed up into interesting, easy to read articles.
I think its a good idea dude.
ps. What business school do you go to!

I think it is a good idea.Publish your article with unique and informative content on your blog that will help to attract the readers.

It works only if it comes from you. Summarize and comment with your opinions it's ok. Otherwise is something everyone can copy....

Not a bad idea.. just have a GOAL in mind for who you want your audience to be..

Then you can offer things down the road [monetize] that relate to what they need/can use..
