I hear people say that Ubot has the smallest learning curve, but that zeno is the most powerful. Ive only ever used Ubot, and I think Ubot was pretty easy to learn if you have an understanding of Loops and If statements you are pretty much golden. You cannot compile files with Zeno though, so there is no selling your bots with Zeno. I personally would wait though to see if Ubot fixes the problems it is having though, because I dont see how you could sell a compiled bot right now anyway with the issues Ubot is having, without the customer being upset with you. Honestly Im still in my 30 day guarentee with Ubot (about 20 days in) and im seriously considering excizing my right to a refund because of the issues... (Read Above)
I have no programming experience at all. My only experience w/ bots was creating a craigslist poster w/ macroexpress years ago before posting got difficult.
I want to creat a simple scraper for sites like yellowbook/merchantcircle to harvest name/address/tel# and export to CSV. If it works, I have a warm market that I could sell it to, but selling a .exe is secondary....I want the bot for my own use.
I'm sure I can come up with many other simple uses for a bot creator.
Would UBOT or Zenno be better for me for the initial scraper solution (considering my lack of programming skill and the simple nature of the bot I want to create).
Any feedback appreciated from experienced users.
