Thinking About The Ultimate Ebook.

I was thinking about everything that I have shered here at BHW ans making an Ebook and selling it.....What do you guys think?

go for it... who would be your target market though? how would u sell it? as in affiliate, landing page?
 
i recently wrote an ebook also and need help setting up a secure download so they have to pay before they get the download instead of just jumping to the download page
 
I do not see how that is going to work. If you're going to sell blackhat products you better not advertise here as you've seen everyone shares their loot here. You're probably better off going to DP and selling there. They wont know how to get to the DL page.
 
with good salespage u can easily grab a few hundos from DP :p
 
well not all people at dp are dumb. i was palnning on selling there. but i nstill need a landing page and a secure download page right

Someone will just buy it, then upload it to Rapidshare/MediaFire etc and it doesn't matter how hard your DL page is to find it will still be shared.

So don't go overboard trying to configure complex delivery scripts for an Ebook.
 
i havent made an ebook yet but cant you password them? also, cant you just send them an email with the ebook attached? sure they can still redistribute but at least they arent going to say "hey download at www.afdadf.com/download.html" right?
 
Well I planned on sending mine out on disk.And see if I can find software or a program,something to eliminate copies being made of my ebook.You can also disable right clicks somehow too.Doing this will make a really secure ebook that can't be duplicated.

I have looked at what you "shered" here and i think making an Ebook and selling it is a bad idea. Because you do not know anything worth selling.

Anything is worth sharing. make a ebook and dump it on DP. You will make a few bucks.
A few people are doing it already.
 
why not make the book, or multiple books and use a magento site to sell them? as far as i've seen the magento CMS is pretty good for downloadable sales.
 
ejunkie is pretty secure and easy. but i'm with Nick Flame re: your sherings. why do you even need to ask this question?
 
All you guys have great ideas....You can have the crappiest ebook in the world,as long as you market it right and catch peoples attention,you will make a little money.
