Thinking about starting niche site

Hi guys,

I was wondering about making my own niche site in topic that I'm good. I would like to make the site in my native language (not english) and then also I would like to make another site where I would translate these articles to english. Will it be a problem for Google? 2 similar sites in different language?

Shouldn’t be a problem since you’ll have to change a few words/phrases here and there to maintain readability after translating

As above, I really see no problem there.
Also, sometimes you might have a bit different content as you might need to adjust to those specific countries.
