Hello fellow IMers :) I am thinking about starting up Email Marketing and Building an "email list". I just need a bit of advice and some questions answered if possible.

Q#1: I was told that this market could never be saturated, is this right?
Q#2: I have joined Aweber and I am making a landing page, now what kind of free content can I go about sending my visitors to so I can get a "good" list.
Q#3: How hard is this for someone who is new to making a "list" be?
Q#4: What is the success rate on making email lists? Are most people successful?
Q#5: Should I start out buying solo ads? If so how much? and at what "point" can I start swapping?
Q#6: How do your "subscribers" not get tired of getting emails from you since you are constantly swapping and selling solo ads? "wouldn't the conversion rating drop?"
Q#7: How do I go about building a "relationship" with my list and keeping it good? How long does this take?
Q#8 What are the "best" sites but somewhat cheap to start getting my "targeted niche" email list? "solo ads"

Any other advice would be helpful because I plan on investing into this business. Thanks!

#1. No market is saturated with great sellers, only fucking noobs and shitty products.
#2. Depends solely on your niche how well you want your customers to respond to you.
#3. It is only hard if you are on a budget or doing it mainly free.
#4. 1% is the average success rate, some people like me have a 30%+ success rate, and some have 80% success rate.
#5. You never want to swap a list unless you suck at monetizing it. Electronic Arts sells the email lists only when sales are low.
#6. Yes conversion rate will start to drop drastically.
#7. You should already know how, you need about 7-8 months of niche and market research before hand, then you need to do what Kellog's did and build a solid Brand Name with media and events and sponsorships.
#8. Not just solo ads, you need to do ppc, newspaper, tv, cpm, ppv, cpa, and many other forms of advertising to build your list.

It's not a beefy reply, but its real. You aren't going to be a fly by night success. You have asked your death question:

So what your basically saying if my company isnt Apple im fucked? or are you being serious?

and I still dont get what you are saying..Im talking about a List building as marketing online.. like products and stuff. Swapping as in switching messages and sending them with another marketer not selling out the whole list. Im not even sure if you know what I asked. D:

A market can DEFINITELY be saturated... and unfortunately, E-mail marketing is..

Nearly every marketer is on someone's list, so UNLESS you have a funnel in place that targets IM Noobs - then you should seriously forget trying to build a list... (at least not in the im/mmo niche)

1) its not saturated yet,in a few years who knows
2) YOu can give PLR ebooks
5) start slow with solo ads and test each ad or quality of traffic & conversions then scale up & buy more ads, start swaps after you've established yourself a bit, maybe in a few months
7) Only email your list maximum 3 times a week to keep a good relationship and keep them from unsubscrining.

ps. I recommend getting optimize press for your squeeze page, its the best WP theme for opt-ins.

For those who are saying that e-marketing is saturated - you must be out of this f#cking world (sorry but true)

Companies spend millions of pounds to promote and eCRM and eMarketing manager here in the UK earns around 60+k

You need to go out and do your research and do your test campaigns
