Thinking About Starting a Dark YouTube Channel

I was thinking about creating a Dark YouTube channel just to have some extra income (even if it’s minimal, just to get something on the side). But I have no idea what niche to choose.

Also, I keep wondering—do Shorts “pay more” than a well-made long video?
