Thinking about a Mobile Proxy farm.. how aggressive are networks on bans?

I am looking at building a mobile proxy farm solution.

One big concern I have right now is the phone networks detecting this kind of usage and banning?

Are they banning on activity or volume of usage?

And if they ban, will it be SIM only? Am I likely to have success just getting a new SIM or will the ban the IMEI off their network too?

P.S. What software platforms are people using to manage their farm?

So, in our many years of practice, there hasn't been a single case where a mobile carrier detected and blocked such usage. People can pump literally hundreds of GB per month through one SIM card for years and this has never raised any questions in any country. Of course, you shouldn't tell the carrier upfront that you're buying SIM cards for a proxy farm.


Ofc choosing the right carrier is the Base for a proxy farm. What's important:

• Always better to choose MNO (real carriers with their own towers) rather than MVNO (virtual carriers). MVNOs rent capacity from MNOs and get limited IP address pools and speed limits. The only thing MVNOs can tempt you with is price. But it's really not worth it.
• Check unlimited plans that actually have speed restrictions after crossing a threshold (hard throttle/data cap/deprioritization)
• Not all carriers rotate IPs when reconnecting to towers! These are rare exceptions, but better to check in advance.
• Not all carriers will sell many SIM cards to private individuals. This heavily depends on the country, but usually the best plan conditions can be negotiated if you work with the carrier on behalf of a legal entity (at least as a sole proprietor).
