think norton screwd up my scrapebox :S

    I recently installed norton cause scrapebox was giving me too many viruses... when i try to scrape urls or even post comments its only doing like 1-3 connections at a time o.0

    even though my connections at the bottom says 100...

    i unistalled norton with revo uninstaller but still problem remains. anyone know whats wrong?

    also wat anti virus are u guys running to protect from viruses that works well with scrapebox?

    As far as I know, SB uses the same engine as whatever version of IE you have installed. If you are really worried about it, run it in a virtual machine. If not, just use something like Avira + MalwareBytes Anti Malware after you scrape and post.

    How do you know it's 1-3 connections?

    Have you tried reducing the connections?

    Avast works fine with SB and does a great a great job protecting. Consider doing a restore point to return system to its pre-Norton condition.
