This is a good one: Stop make excuses,believe in yourself and work hard.

I would also add "Calm down, things are going to turn out ok," as well as "Value the people you love because they won't be around forever." Also "Save your money."

Focus on making money. Period.

I wish I knew that focusing on school would not lead to success in real life.

Don't listen to everyone saying you have to go to college and get a good job to have anything in life. Oh wait I didn't listen to that bullshit lol. But I did waste a couple years working regular jobs and have a bad knee and hip for it.

The big one would be ALL women are gold diggers, in the adult industry or not so don't even try having gfs just rent by the hour when ya need'em and kick'em back out the door.

Plenty of little things, like cars I've sold I wish I'd kept, women to avoid, etc etc.

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.
Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

Damn little sh$%s can't even respect rules of the thread, I have reported all three of you to your motherators now GTFO and don't come back until you have some chest hairs.

Just have to add a couple of other things that I did not put in my original post.
Agree with "do what you love". I followed what others (parents, teachers) wanted me to do and I did get accolades in the professional world.
But they don't compare to the business I have now where I do what I LOVE and get even more accolades. One in a highly professional world and one in a hands on world. Love the hands on business. I now realize had I done this from the beginning I would be a household name by now. Do what you love ! It is no longer work.

One other very important thing. When you buy a house never ever sell it.
This is the biggest single point I wish someone had told me 40 years ago.

Pay it off or until the point you can rent it out for the amount of the mortgage.
Stretch yourself and buy another and do it over and over. Slightly easier said than done. Live at home for as long as you can. Or live in the house and rent out every room.
Buy in the best position you can afford at the time. It will get better as you go up the real estate ladder but keep them all. I remember baulking at paying $7000 for some land 40 years ago. I laugh at how ridiculously cheap that sounds now but at the time it was a lot. That same lot would now sell for $750000 in the area I had it.

Just remember this. "They aint making no more land". So always try to buy a house rather than an apartment as you are buying the land, not the building.

Houses are a part time occupier of the land and will get knocked down eventually but YOU will still own the land. With an apartment you are buying a strata (the air). If the apartment comes down you don't have all that much share in whats left. The money was really made by the developers.

Stick to your schooling and FINISH it. Get your certificates etc. We live in a world now that wants to see a piece of paper to say "hey this guy/girl stuck at it". You have no idea what is ahead of you. Lets just say for example that all communication went absolutely astray and there was no more internet. How would you earn your money. You MUST have a backstop.

In my other post I said work hard. This incorporates working smarter. Handle what you can handle and outsource what you can't. DONT try to do it all yourself. You are not going to be wealthy overnight. Just have patience and take one step at a time.
Don't count on luck. Sometimes it just walks past your door.

I hope you all have the rewarding life that you are willing to work for.

this is my first year in IM and it is really crazy. I'm starting to earn money though.

wish I knew IM 2 years back so I can make more money while i was still in college and bang more chicks
