Thin Content Spam Penalties EVERYWHERE!

About google hitting on affiliate sites, that's one part that confuses me as to how that is considred thin. For one, it gives the searcher plenty of information more than amazon itself could with it's paid reviews. When people buy the product that's reffered by the affiliate, it means the user got what they wanted, which is anything but thin/spam content.

Most affiliates bank on the fact that they'll rank organically and profit that way as organic affiliate traffic is highly valuable. Google seems to like to discourage this practice by handing out penalties, forcing affiliates to consider PPC as a safer route, which Google profits off of.

Do you actually get a email if you are penalized? I dont get that part?

Yes you get emails at the email address in your webmasters account. I got
hit and the sites all have unique content. The first page for my main keyword on
my best site is nothing but ads, brands and at #1 is an ecommerce site with
one paragraph description and nothing but product pics, go figure.

I feel ya man. Everyone is mass purging right now.

90% of my tumblr accounts were banned last week.
Which is a LOT of tumblr accounts.

Question is, will you keep getting back up and fighting back? :)

Google is giving out some f.... presents before christmas!

Did your sites all have the same registar?(with or without privacy)
