I have over 60 static pages (1200 words each) that were all ranking really well for their kw's. Since that time I now have 4,000 short blog post (200-300 words)
These are not the type of blogs that last a lifetime (top 10 things, how to, etc) they are news articles and temporary since the news articles do not bring in traffic after 20-30 days.
These thin blogs are now ranking at page 6 for my kw's, when before my static pages were on page 1 for all my kw's
Content is not spun and avg time spent on each article is about 1.5 mins for a 200-300 word article. High bounce rate though.
1. Do I delete all old pages from 90 days ago?
2. Optimize these pages and link to static content?
3. deindex or cCanonical all blog post after 60-90 days?
any advice please
