They're paying me what?!?!

Its too cheap....

I get paid $600 per week... and I do a lot less than that..

that last part that hardly anyone is talking about..
the make a contest...
that is a lot of work....

$2000 is the right price...

but don't price it per month....EVER...
always price it per week...
that way they see you as an employee...
and they are more likely to hire you...
and they get weekly reports....
it makes them feel more in control

same price at the end... just give it to them
per week....

try it.. you will see that you make more sales....

There is a lot to this. If they are talking to other SEOs, I would consider how much you feel you can accept and still do a good job. I would suggest framing it to the custom as a piece meal project, meaning that if they want to pay $400, you will only do such and such, $1000 a month gets them half the work and $2000 a month gets them what you offered. If you back down they know that your rates are negotiable and they will not value you as much.

That could probably be done in 20-30 minutes a day plus maybe an hour twice a month. So not bad. In addition you could probably outsource it all for $175 if you can find someone reliable.

That's true... if you have the right resources in place then it will be a good chunk of change for only a little bit of your time. Plus you can try to offer an upsell after a few months. If they start to become a pain then just dump them and let one of the other SEOs deal with the lowballing.
