I was selling a popular software on egaay and had excellent response...but before the thing ended I decided to cancel them... Today i receive an e-mail from them saying vero took down my listings. My account is still intact, but I received a warning..(over 8 yr old unused account)

Was it windows or office?

They found it because vero searches the active and completed listings, when you end an item it will show in the completed listings as unsold. They will warn you once, second time warn you again, make you take a ebay policy quiz thing and if you get another violation for copyright they will suspend your account for a month, a year, or permenently depending on how the person handeling your account is feeling that day. Its good that you got nervous and ended item and didnt sell it, people selling bootleg items is why it costs me so damn much when I go to buy the real thing, lol

Most probably because your ITEM is not selling and many other users are selling it.
