This question is asked alot, & here is the answer --- I took the dive! I decided too un-follow 65,000 followers in just 1 hour, after building the account too 78,000 twitter followers in a 90 day period, I felt for my business &brand image and overall look of been a global brand, i needed too un-follow them all and just keep the verified followers, so i decided too unfollow them all very fast using Manageflitter and autoclick bot, i was very worried regrading getting suspended or my account blocked, But twitter seemed totally fine with it, I didn't get any warns, any suspension, after around 45 minutes it was complete, the screenshot is shown below.

It did loose me an estimated 9,000 followers in 24 hour period.

LOL YOU SERIOUS?
You are in the TeamFollowback niche, and its not just a name, it stands for a team that actually follow back.
Basically you just did a fairly ridiculous move, they don't follow you because of the content you post.
They followed you because you followed them.
When you unfollow those that follow you back, they'll probably unfollow you back too.

good info but I wouldn't suggest everybody do this so quickly.

Also you will lose another good amount of followers soon but you will have accomplished your goal. You better deliver good tweets/content or more people will unfollow.

BTW, what type of brand are you building?

The fact he is explaining is that there is not an unfollow limit (follows have of 1000).

What's the follow limit? 1000? Does it matter how new your account is, if you automate? The intervals between your follows?

Thanks,
Aaron

I am not in the team follow back niche
Kries twitter is becoming very strict on them type of accounts alot are been suspended recently,
The account is about 3 years old but i have only just started using it 3-4 months before then it had about 1,000 followers, the follow limit per day is 2,000 i have broken it with manageflitter & the samsung s4 mini & twitter app bugs and holes, But now its pretty much impossible, the niche is the music industry,

AaronxJames I follow about 700 then wait then follow 1,300 at once then wait until i can follow again the next day.

I can confirm there seems to be no limit to the number of unfollows

However, If you unfollow loads of accounts and also follow some the same day you will probably be suspended.

Maybe -
Pabloelbest
but i unfollowed 65,000 and followed about 1,600 all in the same hour and didn't get suspended.

twitter algo catch such a/c and suspend them . i only unfollowed about 10 in a minute and in a few hours my a/c was suspended
