There are several members from TV who are giving away invites on BlackHatWorld Forum without any real care as to who they give the invites to.
We want to point out that all members are responsible for the people they invite to TV. When you invite a member to TV, make sure you also direct them to our rules and faqs pages.
When you recklessly give away invites to people you don't know, you risk losing your account here on TV. If you invite someone who leaks or causes problems, it will reflect on your account, and depending on how badly they mess up, you could lose your account completely.
If you know and trust the people you are giving an invite to, that's fine. That's what invites are for - for giving to people you know and trust. Recklessly giving them away to people you only just met on a forum for rep or some other brownie point system is a good way to get your account disabled here at TV.
We have a lot of members from BHW at TV, and by and large, they are all very good and decent members.
The message is clear and simply BE CAREFUL who you give an invite to. If you are unsure of an individual, there is a very simple and easy way out for you - just refer them to our IRC invites channel ( #TheVault-Invites ) - or to the vault application page ( http://www.thevault.bz/app.php ) which gives them appropriate information for joining, and that way we can process their application, and you can preserve your good standing.
I have about 5 invites.......... but I will be EXTREMELY selective who gets the invite. I've been suspended twice already (once for not logging in at least once every three weeks, and asking those in a GB to leak it out earlier to non-donaters). Last thing I really need is for to have someone I invited screw up and have my account banned at the same time.
The main rules you need to follow on thevault
#1) Keep your ratio AT LEAST 1.0, meaning you upload a kb for every kb you download. Simple.
#2) Log in at least once every three weeks, and I think you have to download something once a month.
#3) The selection they have there is absolutely RIDICULOUS... on almost any money-making tactic you can think of (leak anything and you are banned, no questions)
#4) I think someone mentioned they got banned for logging into too many IPs, they'll think that you gave away your password to others = ban.
#5) There are Group Buys (GBs) often for highly coveted products, if you don't contribute $ to the GB, and you ask someone for it early, they will ban you.
I will give out 5 invites, message me with why you want it (and your email)... if you PM me saying, "give me please"... I will ignore your dumb ass.
