Thesis Question ---help please!

Hi friends,

I was considering purchasing and learning Thesis.

I know that some Themes can only be used once and therefore if are building sites for a living (or part time), you have to purchase it again and many times over.

My Question is "how many sites can i create using the Thesis?"

As far as I can remember, it's like $600 or something like that, but Thesis still remains to be one of the best WP themes imo so it's totally worth it.

What about my own sites....

Does this mean that every site that i put up (i'm talking about my own sites) that i have to purchase the Theme again?

If you dont purchase a developers license, then yes

The theme is 200 bucks for developers license. Professional on diythemes.com and you can use that on as many websites as you want.

Then you will want skins, different ones for each site. wpthesisskins.com and thesislove.com etc... (there are tons of options) you can buy a membership to one of these type of sites (ranging from 30 - 300 dollars) and then you could use those skins on your theme for now on.

On the cheap I heard (wink wink) there is a copy floating around that you could grab and use with some skins in one of these forums.

It is easy to use, they have classes and tutorials online - I would pay just to see that content if I were you.

Face it for 300 bucks - building 200 sites is well worth it. If you need a cheaper option then hit up someone like me that owns a developers copy. They could install thesis, throw a few skins in there and make a basic site for you pretty easy if you have the wp install done. literally an hour.

I am not volunteering - I know it has been done though and if you are really in a pinch I am happy to help.

I will tell you this - the more you push and learn and face the obstacles... The further you will succeed because those are building you up.

Well i do think a good alternative to thesis would be the genesis platform. Its a lot cheaper and offers better support than thesis. Both have a steap learning curve and both a re highly customisable. Well there are a lot of articles on thesis vs genesis and to say the truth non wins. So why not consider genesis? And what do you want to use the themes for? Like what kind of sites?
