There are 10 sites selling louis vuitton, replica watches, etc. What should I do to stop them? Any advise would be really appreciated. Thank you.

If we are talking firewall then we are not talking about spam. Spam is not stopped by firewalls, it is stopped by using human-verification or using anti-spam plugin, such as Akismet.

I don't know, usually websites can't attack other people's sites. Perhaps show us the logs, and blur the offender so you are not marketing them?

    1. block their ip number.
    2. use a php script to block them by name or country.

    i use both methods.

OP, I think you need to clarify the situation.

    Has your site/server been hacked?

Very sorry all if I may confuse you.
I have holiday website built with Joomla and Wordpress, last year I got hacked to Joomla part so, I took it down and built the new one. The Wordpress part I put Wordpress Firewall plugin on plus some other plugins, got recommended via BHW. And everything I can to protect my host.

In these 2 weeks I get notification everyday "Alert from WordPress Firewall on ... (my blog)..."
And on mail body "WordPress Firewall has detected and blocked a potential attack!" with a long offending parameter. No bad thing happen to my site but to get almost 100 notification alerts is very annoying. I don't want to turn alert off. Not sure if they will do something more..

I would like to stop them but don't know how should I do. Thank you all.

It might be caused by Bots attempting to access the WP Login URL.
Try these plugins to rename WP Login

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/rename-wp-login/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-login-url/

    You could also use CloudFlare

I don't think blocking the country was a good method.
Is it shown as useful ?

i created a php script that blocks by isp name, referring page, and country code (i don't do business in asia or europe). but unlike htaccess files it does not slow down the server because i can put the script on a single page. whereas htaccess files affect all of the pages.

mostly i use it on the index page and on pages that have forms, since spammers use unprotected form pages to send their unsolicited emails.

so far it's stopped tons of spammers, hackers, and troublemakers from visiting my web pages. :D
