These domains have Real or Fake PR?

How can these pages be PR5, are these real or fake pr's?
If it's real, how do they do it, since they don't have a lot of baclinks (almost all with PR0)

The first site listed has a PR6 backlink from a .edu

The 3rd site has a PR7 backlink from openoffice.org

etc.

You also need to keep in mind that the PR you see in the toolbar (or when you check using a PR checking site) is not up to date. Google only updates that info a few times a year so that PR you are seeing is a snapshot of a particular time which might have been months ago.

This does not make it fake which is another issue altogether but it makes it not up to date. If you look at at site and the links do not seem to support that current PR you are seeing what has most likely happened is that the site has lost those back links that gave it that PR.

Some links of them are fake or may not be used for a year long.Google toolbar checks it and if you find a response time larger than 10s you would definitely need to check the availability of the links.

If you park domain A on top of Domain B domain A will start showing the PR of domain B in the toolbar.

However when you go to rankchecker.com or another rankchecking website to check the PR of site A they will show you the PR as fake and show domain B as the real site.

Mostly you can get high PR links two different ways. You can get comments approved on high PR blog pages or you can get them directly from the people who control the blog themselves by paying for the links.
