Theres one thing about tiered linkbuilding i don't really get..

Yea.

Let's say i own the website buycars.com and i want to promote a certain keyword, in this case "buy cheap cars" and i'd like to do some linkbuilding for that.

Do i create 1 web 2.0 website with a high quality article or do i create 10 of them?

If i wanted to promote another keyword, in this case "high quality cars". Would i have to do the exact same thing all over again, create 10 web 2.0 pages and post extremely high quality posts?

Its as basic as it gets but i don't get it. Please enlighten me.

The more high quality links the better....Google is getting better and better at finding "bad quality" links so be sure the content really is great or in my opinion it's not worth building all the pages.

Geting ranked takes alot of time also. You should focus (at beginning) to get subpages ranked on many niche keywords.

What I do is to build a couple of web2.0's with spun content. Then I stuff my main KW in the title and in the content of the web 2.0. After that, i fire up the GSA and start blasting the shit out of it. You can start of with just 6-7 web 2.0's and then increase their amount if you need more firepower.

I have sites still ranking with spun content on all 3 tiers.

You can create as many as you want. Each article will be a new link to your buycars.com website. BUT, web 2.0s are all hosted on the same IP's, so more than 2 links from any one web 2.0 and the power starts to drop off. So you can either build lots of articles on the same web 2.0 and link to lots of inner pages, or build lots of web 2.0's to link to the same page (homepage, whatever).

The more high quality web 2.0 articles, the better. As you build links to your site for one keyword, your site will rise up in the rankings for other keywords as well. So there's no need to create separate web 2.0s for different keywords. Just vary your anchor text naturally.

With the very competitive niches, I think a private blog network is highly better than just web 2.0.
I use Web 2.0s to boost PBN articles that I buy.
Ex: GSA/Scrapebox Blast > 4 hand written Web 2.0 articles > 1 top quality PBN article
Repeat the pattern again and again until you get results

First, You dont have to use the same anchor text for all of the web 2.0 sites. Like you can have 1 Anchor text for 3 web 2.0 sites, and then another keyword for next 3 web sites. Let me know if you got it.
