There is no PBN effect.

Its probably too soon.

BN units get sand-boxed just like and other website. In this time period link juice is blocked.

Not to mention they might be weak for the keyword. Or anchor text selection is wrong.

Only expired domains and drop-caught domains.

Aged domains that have been indexed continuously don't experience any sort of sandbox effect.

But, it's not really a sandbox effect with expired and drop-caught domains. It's just that they can be toxic in the first 30-40 days after you build them.

I don't really believe there is a google sandbox. I would say what we see as a sandbox is more a combination of a lot of other factors, specifically topical relevancy.

The reason why older sites will rank quicker isn't because they are aged, it's because they have built up a very high topical relevance with their on-page content, combined with off-site trust factors and off-site relevance factors giving them further topical relevancy.

You'll notice this if you add an article to an aged site that's within its usual topic vs adding one completely off-topic. The off-topic one will not rank anywhere near as quickly.

Even a brand new, fresh, never before used domain can rank very very quickly if you keep your topic focused AND you're writing good content, and by good content I mean content that the algorithm picks up as being very strongly relevant to your topic.

The above thoughts are all great advice.

From what I have read and experienced 1.5 months may be too soon to see a full effect.
I've been told 3 months is the key to determine if there are any benefits.
Also, one site may not make a difference. I've been told make as many as you can humanly do.

11 pbns will certainly help you rank. That's a lot of pbns.

The problem is most people are using garbage domains.

Try 11x$500 domains and see what happens.

The real problem is ROI.
For most niches PBNs that can work are just too expensive to build/maintain to bring in positive return on investment.

Then you have niches with very high RPM (from ads, affiliate/ direct sales), but these niches are so competitive that you'd need a huge PBN to rank (if you rank at all). And here we come again to ROI problem ;).

OP has got "garbage" domains likely because he can't afford more expensive one for his niche...

I assumed by OP's post that they are not indexed.

When I say sand-box, I'm talking about trust issues exactly (that includes relevance) rather than a set period of "blocking" time.

Well, you're saying it's impossible to make any ROI from pbns? ;)

However, I don't agree.

If you can't make at LEAST $10k from your site in a year, it's not worth it.

Spending $5k on pbns and $5k on content and making $15k in year 1 and $30k in year 2 is a good ROI, and still a very low ROI for SEO.

The days of spending $200 and making $50k in SEO are over. In the real world an ROI of 2x-5x is great.

I agree with you. You can make positive ROI with PBN.
In some niches, however, it's (almost) impossible. In some it is highly doable, if you have budget, and do everything right.

But most people here do not have 10K to invest--that's likely the case of OP as well. That's why I suggested that his strategy may be doomed to fail. And by the way, even 1.5 ROI is great for almost any marketing strategy.

One. When writing articles, I made them relevant. 2. I made a new WordPress, but saved the content. 3. I have organic traffic but no social accounts. 4. What is RD? 5. Wait 30 ~ days before posting the article. 6. Yes. 7. Money site on page is recommended. 8.Yes
There's many factors here:

1) Did you buy niche related domains for the pbn, or did u just buy domains that had metrics that you liked?

2) did you restore the original content? if not, did you redirect the old content to the homepage?

3) Any organic traffic and aged social accounts for the pbn domains?

4) How many RD did the domain have?

5) Did you wait for the domain to be reindexed and add content first without linking out to anywhere to make it look genuine, or did you just set it up and start posting articles to link back to you?

6) Your money site, did it have enough supporting pages to the actual page you were targeting?

7) proper on page SEO done?

8) Keyword competition and competitors stats in top three positions?

A pbn is just like a normal website, it's not a magic pill. you won't rank if you have no strategy first. There are many more factors, but the above points are enough for you to ponder and start fixing your strategy

I spent $ 8000 to build a PBN. Please help....

It depends on many factors.
Some PBNs effective and some not. You will have to do some research to determine if the seller PBN is good to use or not.
When you bought the links? sometimes it will take you time to see some results.

Posts with links It's been about a month and a half.
You should wait a bit longer, wait for google to index the PBN site(s) and wait for the algorithm to pick up and process the links. A month and a half is just not enough in most cases.

11 nicely built PBN's with strong domains should definitely show you some results.

Did you use domains in any way? They are the worst kind of domains to build PBN's on. What are the average RD's for the domains, and did you manually check the backlink profile for each PBN domain?

11 PBN links won't help you to rank. You need more backlinks

Not necessarily. It is not always about the quantity. It depends on his keyword and also it depends on the quality of his PBN. I have seen my keyword movement only with 5 PBN links and sometime even 50 does not help

Wow, what a gold mind of great info this thread has turned out to be! Would strongly recommend taking @splishsplash and @tiiberius 's advice.

My add here would be along the lines of what Tom was speaking about in terms of building up the PBN domain as close to the original's topical relevance as possible. Then when you add your link (after waiting for possible toxicity to dissipate) try to write an article to weaves your money site's topic into the topic of the PBN domain. From experience, if you try the shift the topical relevancy, it will basically render the domain as powerful as starting from scratch.

Honestly, 1.5 months is too earlier to tell, I'm generally now seeing 90 days before PBN domain effects take hold.

RD is is the number of Root domains that link to the pbn website. if it has 10k backlinks but maybe 400+ RD , that would mean it's spammy .

Also ,

RD is referring domains. I suspect you probably have some problems related to the original topical theme of each site, and all of them suddenly adding articles in your niche that point back on it's homepage, or it could be links being deindexed or removed after you bought it?

And, since you are sure about your article relevancy and money site on page, then it can be highly related to Keyword difficulty and competitors stats.

when I bought my own pbn domains, I used to set up social accounts just to make posts like: " this site is under new management" etc. I would then make six articles about my niche and interlink them to each other first. Give it social signalso +cheap traffic from youtube ads .
Then later on, I would have one article ordered and have those six articles link to it at random.

once that's done, I add my own money site link using page title as the anchor text, which would be either a partial match or partial keyword+brand. It worked very well, , but buying good domains and maintaining the content was too much trouble after I had like 25 sites.

So I did the stupid thing by buying pbn links here and my site got penalized. Even after penalty removal, it could never rank the way it once did.

These days, I would rather buy a good and highly relevant domain and do a site move in search console+ 301redirect to a brand new domain. It looks more like a company merger than a spammy SEO tactic.

Give it some time, but don't remove your links...that's a clear sign to the algorithm that you can control who is linking to you. Just try and edit the content instead, add videos and better images with structured data markups.
