"There are too many accounts being created on this number."

Hi all,

Wondering if I can get some help. Upon making a new FB Messenger Account today I got this message.

"There are too many accounts being created on this number. New account creation on this number is temporarily blocked."

I am using my personal phone number. No idea what the other accounts are, they could have been made in the past or made by my partner in the past etc but I need to make an account for myself now. Unfortunately without being able to log in (because of this security message) I can't delete those accounts.

Any ideas on how to destroy the old accounts and make me a new one under this number?

How long have you had this number? Maybe someone else once owned it and registered an FB account with it.

You can try to contact FB support, but IMHO better try buying a different number for FB.

Go with new number instead, Many carriers allow phone number change for a fee or free.

As others have mentioned unless its an account that you need to recover for a client or for something important you are much better of getting a new number and just creating new accounts with that.
