How often do you get therapy?

Do you think it's good to take therapy?

For me, it was so good. And I feel relaxed because you can share those things with your therapist that you couldn't share with your friends, wife, or parent.
 
I do not get therapy.

I believe that a lot of people should get therapy however. Especially people with trauma or any emotional damage should really get into therapy as it will most likely change their life to the better. Acknowledging to yourself that you might have a trauma or a problem that needs to be solved is something different and most people fail to acknowledge this within themselves.

Yes, It helps with the trauma too. And it can also help with your stress and depression.

Or any kinda porn or drug addiction.
 
@mmubeen8 Without sounding intrusive, was your therapy for an addiction? A trauma? Or something else entirely?

I've always found it fascinating how therapy works and how re-training your brain to cope, overcome or manage a situation can be so effective.
 
The best therapy comes from working out. Most suffer from self esteem issues. Worked for me and my crew. Ooh, i was a hardcore porn addict. Quiting was easy.

I wouldn't tell what it was for.

But what I can tell is, It is okay to be vulnerable in front of your therapist. Because whatever you tell him/her that would be confidential. The professional therapist knows how to deal with the patient's diseases. And they will give you the solutions according to your condition and situation.
 
I have never undertaken any form of therapy although one of my neighbors recently recommended that I should. My therapies so are are going to the gym & getting lots of sleep and I think I am doing just fine.
 
I hope you heal soon enough.
And yeah, therapy really helps if you find the right therapist.
