I going to start designing a few WordPress themes and I wanted to know what kind of sites make the most money in your opinion and the themes will be designed to accommodate.

Once they are competed I will post them for everyone to use.

You can create wordpress website for adsenese, affiliate marketing, blogging or a complete website. It's all depend upon the usage and requirement of the client. So wish you all the best for your business

A decent free CTR theme would probably get everyone hot in the pants. I have noticed though that niche pre-designed templates are also REALLY in demand.

Things like prebuilt "enter your own info" sites for:
- web hosting
- computer repair
- dentists
- locksmiths

etc.

I think you should target Adsense and Afilliate marketing themes, people love those type of themes. Personally I would like to try a new good CTR theme.

There is a lack of static wordpress themes. Many people use wordpress as a CMS rather as blogs and there are not a lot of themes that are designed with static webpages in mind (personally I customize the code to remove comments etc but still it is a hustle). For ideas I would check elegantthemes as they tend to create the best static themes..
