It’s happening!

The world has started easing out of lockdown and into the new normal, with some places reopening for travel and tourism purposes. Those which rely on tourism for their economies are being quickest off the mark.

The thing that scares is everything is going to return to normal. What if there is people still sick and the virus spread more and more but let's keep it positive.

Excellent news, lets see what the New World Order brings in regards to our relationships with China. If it takes bringing the world to its knees for China to get real democracy and freedom of speech I believe it will be well worth it in the long run. I suggest people keep their eyes on Hong Kong and Donald Trump's upcoming statement on the issue.
 
Yeah, finally it’s getting good again. My country opened borders for tourists too (but only to those with low rate of infected). At least something.
 
This seems to be so, but the future remains quite unknown.
I am planning some summer vacation, maybe Spain, obviously need to avoid the crowded places though.
 
Yes the 3rd world always pays the biggest price for 1st world made disasters. I don't think we will ever really know the real death toll for these countries, they don't have the infrastructure to A. Save lives. B. Count the ones that actually died of C19. Plus the have less to help them recover which will mean a lot more people will die in the long term from the consequences of the virus than from the actual virus.

There was no wave, it's just lingering around like dust, literally and metaphorically.

I reckon 80% or so of the world's population will inevitably get it, lockdown or not and then realise how bogus the media coverage regarding death rates especially, was.

Unfortunately, I believe there will be a second wave. That´s unavoidable.

If we´ve reached almost 6 million active cases while in lock-down/quatantine I can´t imagine what the number will be 2 or 3 months from now if most of the security measures are lifted.

But I think lifting the lock-down is a "necessary evil" as I can´t recall the last time healthy people were quarantined.

I guess this is a "necessary evil", unfortunately, my country health system/infrastructure is not prepared for a potential second wave (nor was for the first :D )
 
Yay, i hope government gives me back (some) of my rights, for being a good subject, i mean citizen, and obeying the commands, i mean following the rules. I can't wait for the new normal, it's going to be amazing....now where did i leave my bottlecaps......

New cases plunging up to another million. Looks like this pandemic will hit us hard. Slow economy, more jobless, hunger.... Need to plant potatoes!
 
It’s kinda not so good news China opened it up fast and we all saw what happened, people are not taking covid seriously and not sure why people believe that there won’t be a second wave without everyone being cured. Maybe I’m over paranoid but I’m not traveling this year unless that covid vaccine comes
 
Its the only logical thing to do. We cant hide in our houses like cowards while the very fabric of our economy is destroyed. Many people have lost alot. Some have lost everything.if there's to be a second wave it wont be as serious as the first because everyone has learnt the need of social distancing.compulsory use of facemasks will slow the spread further.
 
I just want to be able to resume my other offline biz right now, that's all.
 
Fingers crossed. Been looking to go to the north-eastern mountains for a long time. It feels even longer because I can't even go out of my house lol.

I really do hope that this does not make the situation worse. Will wait to see what happens first.
