    Hello All,
This is meant to be an educational thread, or at least a way to cut down on some of the crap that is going around on the forum lately. So everyone knows, I have been following the forum for about six months, and only recently decided to become an active member. I have several topics that I would like to discuss, some of which may not be of interest to you. If that is the case please feel free at any time to move on, as this thread is meant to educate members on how to properly use this forum, run a successful online business, and stop pissing people off with useless posts!

How to use this forum properly...

This forum is unique in that was and can be again a place of very profitable information and business relationships. Don't get me wrong, there are still deals that happen and good information is being shared everyday...However, not like it used to be. We at BHW are being overshadowed by this looming cloud of ignorance and blatant "entitlement". So I put together a list of some top Do's and Don'ts for using the forum properly:

    1. When posting ask yourself this question, "Would someone else benefit from reading what I wrote?" If your answer is no, then figure out a way to respond to the thread that would add information or bring up valid points about information already posted.

    2. Before you post, please review the entire thread from page 1 to the end of the page, before asking a question. This can be a real challenge for people who don't like to read, have a sense of "answer me b/c I am special" entitlement, or are ignorant to the proper use of a thread.

    3. This forum was created to pull all black hatters into alignment using a form of social media. Which means tight groups of "super performers" can be created, producing great knowledge and experience, more quickly than any one person can produce by themselves. Only, that growth is being prohibited by the "Thanks for that info" posters. Do not post something that will not be of value in the very least to yourself!

    4. For all the people out there who would say," But I don't have anything of value, I am just a Noob"...I have a message for you, "Boo Fuckin' Hoo". Just so we are clear, EVERYONE starts out as a "Noob". In anything we decide to take up, we always have the same starting position. That is why God made shit like Google. Do some research and post an educated response, assuming that the information/question you are posting hasn't already been posted previously.

These basic rules, if followed would produce a much more high quality forum packed full of information and in my opinion would become one of the great "Think Tanks" of the world. I see that happening, if things are cleaned up a bit...

How to run a successful online business...

This forum can be overwhelming to the point where "simpletons" don't know where to start. So they just read everything they can get their hands on, and ask a shitload of stupid questions, and in the end...DO NOTHING!
Growing up, I was always taught that there are two great movers of men...fears and dreams. The first, moves men more swiftly while the other paralyzes him. Fear is THE most powerful motivator of men. So get good at "Selling the nightmare" :)
I bashed simpletons earlier, but they can be some of the most successful people in business. They just need a little guidance. So here you go:

    1. Pick ONE idea that can make money, already has made money, and will not be extremely challenging for you to do. Write down the ONE idea, and list out all the tools/materials needed for the idea to be successful.

    2. Once you have your idea, set aside a specific period of research time to learn everything you can about that ONE idea, and write down that time. (You must write out your business plan or it will not come to fruition)

    3. Now list out each action step required to get the task completed for your ONE idea. It is important to list out each and every step you can think of. It will be alright if you miss a step or two, but don't forget to add them in to your checklist where they are needed!

    4. Set aside a time frame to complete each task on your checklist. If you overshoot your time frame, do not worry or get all bent out of shape...add more time to you list and press on.

    5. Do NOT stop until this ONE idea is completed. Don't even think about moving on, pretend this is the only idea you will ever get, and that you MUST make it work. Because, quite frankly, if you don't do that you will never complete ANY ideas let alone just ONE.

    6. Once your ONE idea is completed, it is time to rinse and repeat. Do the same idea all over again. You will find you are faster and better at it than the first time. (This is a universal law of things)

    7. After you have a feel for how long it takes you on average to run through your ONE idea from start to finish, that is when you need to calculate a few things. Use these formulas :

    Hourly

Total money made *divided by* Time it takes to complete the idea (one cycle) = money you are making per hour. Example : $1000.00 USD / 10 hours to complete one cycle = $100.00 per hour of work.
NOTE: This business formula is not based on a recurring income, so this formula is really based on people who would like to work for the rest of their lives...even if they only work for themselves!!!

Anybody that has done any research knows that recurring commissions are the way to go....long term. So, if you were to start out using single pay only, and then transition into recurring, nobody would hold it against you. Or you could be really smart and start out with recurring!

    Recurring

Total money made *divided by* Time it takes to complete the idea (one cycle) = money you are making per hour FOR THAT SPECIFIED PERIOD OF TIME ONLY!!! Example : $1000.00 USD / 10 hours to complete one cycle = 100.00 per hour of work...for that month. The next month you only had one hour of maintenance to do, so your formula applied now would be $1000.00 USD / 1 hour of maintenance = 1000.00 an hour...for that ONE cycle.

Imagine if you didn't stop with one cycle...and if your cycle isn't producing what you want, then change you ideas, or seek help with the knowledge you have now acquired by using this forum!!!

    In Summation...

There are many other avenues to discuss from here...such as outsourcing, management, millionaire mindset, etc. but by that time I would like to think you have enough time and money to do some "RESEARCH"...

Keep this in mind though...Knowledge is power, ONLY when applied" G.I Joe said it best..."Knowing is HALF the battle" :) So go do something will ya???

All in all, be smart or get banned from one of the best information sources on the web. Thank you for your time, and may you be as successful as you will allow yourself to be. :)

The reason you can find answers to noob questions on google is because forums allow noobs to ask questions.

The op isn't saying don't ask questions, newbie or not, just not the same ones over and over. If it can be found in google or forum search with an adequate answer it doesn't need to take up bandwith on here.
How many time on here has someone asked " How do I make $100 a day?"

Exactly my point Twix70...there are tons of places to find information on the exact same stuff discussed in here, and places like Google are willing to go and find it for you...if you tell them what you need to know more about that is... AND most importantly, I never said this was a forum for Noobs...IMHO "Noobs" should be noobs somewhere else and come intothis forum already making money having some sort of experience and such. I understand that will never fully happen, however the odds can be swayed to our favor in that respect.:)

You are right the newbs aren't unfortunately going to land here semi educated. In fact I arrived here without knowing anything about IM. I was searching google for ways to increase my sites for offline businesses in the search engines.
I have no problems with newbs, I just agree wholeheartedly with you about the duplicated posts.
Maybe when someone registers they have to read and sign of on a faq page as well as the site terms.

I respectfully disagree. And considering this site lets anybody in, it would appear so does the site owner.

Please respect the fact that this forum also welcomes people that are new to Internet marketing.

So nobody gets it twisted... I RESPECT the fact that noobs are welcome here. What I absolutely refuse to respect is ignorance excused with the "noob notion". Most of the issues that are occurring are because of this very fact.
"Whoops I asked a question for the millionth time, and it is completely generic and has been answered a million fuckin' times, I'm a noob" That should not fly.

@ lwpack - Your comment is completely speculative...look that one up
So here is a speculative response : Noobs don't piss me off, new blood is ALWAYS a good thing...Perhaps the site owner hasn't done anything about the challenge, because there hasn't been a viable solution presented as of yet.

@ twix70 - A sign off on faqs or sticky threads before being granted the ability to post would be a great solution...I like the way you think!!!
