Ok, this is what happened to ALL my fb ads. I get high CR and I only pay about $0.4 per engagement, 100s of comments like "I want this, I need this, XYZ you have to see this" but in the end only VERY few people click on the link to the website and out of these few NOBODY buys.
But this is not due me having a bad design. The design can be seen in my ad!!!! So if it is bad why they click on like and comment they want it? No the reason is, nobody is willing to pay $20 or more for a tshirt that you can get in a store or on ebay for $10 and where you can definitely GET it. Because on Teespring in first instance you GET NOTHING, you have to wait till they start printing, if they even start, and if they start up to another 2 weeks to get it. Wait 2+ weeks and pay double price, compared to pay half price and get it immediately (store) or within 2-3 days (ebay), so what would you choose?

This is really difficult. Also people on fb are not in a buying mood, this is not a sales page. They only like and comment but they do not buy. Of course people sold t shirts with fb ads, but mostly these are people who reached an audience of millions of people and paid $x,xxx for ads. If I reach 1 million people then maybe 100 will buy. But then I spent $1,000 and made $100 profit, so loss is $900

I had the same thinking as you but someone told me to keep going, the secret is to split test ads & designs. You need to do it for at least 3-4 days in order to see results then optimize your campaign, of course you need a budget so make sure it's money you are willing to invest.

I see a lot of people saying that this is hard to get sales. People keep liking and commening but no sales. First of all reply to every individual comment with a link to the campaign and let them know how they can get it. Secondly if you have done paid advertising before you should know that you will lose money because thats how it works but when you get that winning campaign you can milk it hard and get your whole investment 10 times over. So just keep testing and tweaking you ads and desgins.

T-spring is really really saturated, the off change that you will bank is so small... You will have to hit a trend and have a great design and design a great add and target the right group of people at the same time, it is next to impossible because of the HUGE competition, especially when your starting out.
I have done it for a view months, made some $$$, learned how to use FB ads, but people on FB are not buyers, sure they respond with i want this or i need this, but they never act on it, not even when i engage them, also people on FB have seen all the shirts already, it is really really hard to sell Tshirts on FB because millions of other people around the world are selling too, want my modest advice? if you're not making money in Tshirts right now.... Get out!
If you're thinking of getting in bring a big bankroll with you cus you will need at least $1000 to learn FB ads and changes are big that you wont make a dime back of that first $1000, I put in $1500 and made $1750 back after a month of trying to figure this out, trust me there are much better ways to make money online with an investment like that, Tshirts isn't it.

Great idea! I know some people that have made a fair bit of money by selling shirts on TeeSpring. Great way for beginners to get started.

Great guide, figured I'd try to implement parts of it with my already existing fan-pages. Got the first design done and up and started promotion, wasn't even up for 2 hours when they took in down for "copyright infringement". So for those asking if that's something to worry about, yes, it is. Even though I created it from scratch, since it had a well known character in it, teespring removed it right away. I'm not sure if that was just my bad luck, or maybe I should try listing it without any tags so it's harder for them to find easily?
I'm going to keep trying with a few other designs, but that was a disappointing start. No worries though, that's life, live and learn right?

I feel like I'm missing something. I've now sold a few shirts on Twitter but not Facebook. I've exceeded the recommendations in the OP guide yet... no FB sales. However, the same designs sold on Twitter.
Further, there are worse - horrible! - designs in the same niche as I that have sold 1k shirts. The months old posts for these shirts have 36k likes and countless shares and comments. Is there something important about this?
