FB ads is hard as hell, especially with a love matters campaign. I'm getting like .70 per click or sometimes no clicks at all

I would say kill the campaign and move on to a different niche. I dont spend more then $20 on a tee unless it gets sells.

I set my fb ads campaign to 'Clicks to Website' and I got hit with $1.12 per website click which is ridiculous so I changed it to Impressions. Is this okay?
Also my estimated daily reach is 22-59000 people out of 6.9M. Is this okay too? Thanks a lot!

When OP said 100-200k size is that the estimated daily reach or the estimated daily reach of X

Your total audience is suppose to consists of 100k to 200k people.
Yeah smaller niches are better.

This does not work as expected, especially not with gay marriage. I got 71 clicks for about $10, well, but ZERO sales on teespring. These are just likes on the fan page as you suggested, not clicks to website (Teespring). Just because somebody likes a status/photo on a fan page he won't go to the link stated there not to speak of buying something

I just want to say I tried many ideas suggested by OPs in Black Hat World. It ALMOST never works as the thread author describes. Either because there are many details hidden (and these are the ones that make the difference) or because the idea is patched, too old and does not work any more.
It takes lost of trail and error in IM in general . So never expect that any of the ideas here will work magic for you. You will likely bare lots of costs and invest lot of your time and then the method may or may not work.
This is why I never get too excited now at these threads. They are nevertheless a good source of info and discussion. I never knew for example about Facebook ad insights before I read this thread.

And concerning FB ads, I used Social Sloth to find out that the ads that have most engagement are done by pages with large fan base (more than 500K). For those you find hundreds of shares and comments because the page is originally popular. But for the stand alone posts (whose page is mainly created to host ads) you would be lucky if you get 1 like for your ad for each 5 bucks spent.
That being said, I believe ads should run for at least 1 month , 5 dollars budget every day to build up real likes and shares. After that you still may or may not see results and sales.
