The Ultimate PBN Guide

A very detailed guide, thank you!

I would also add namebio and virustotal when checking domains. Sometimes webarchive doesn't show the history, and these tools can give additional information - whether the domain was bought, whether there were viruses on this domain.

A question, each PBN site needs to be hosted on a different hosting provider?

Thank you for the guide. If I understand correctly, the cost of buying a great domain and hosting it is around 2000-3000. After doing all of this, I would then create 1 link to my money site. In other words, I pay 3000 for a backlink, however I can get good guest posts already for 200-500. What am I missing?

That's an excellent question.

Guest post (if it's not link insert) won't have tier2 links, so the effect of guest posts is not as strong as PBN. As a rule, links from PBN are placed on the main pages.

For example, the domain used to be a restaurant - and if this domain has 500 RD on the main page, then the link from the main page of this restaurant is your Tier2.

And you're right 5 years ago you could buy such a domain alone for $500 with 300-500 RD, today it would cost $2000-3000.

Many such domains now go to redirects and money sites - all thanks to various training courses and cases.

And a link from a domain that was purchased for $3,000 would cost at least $350-$400 for 10 people.

Everything else is crap, many PBN sellers don't even show the domains, you're buying a cat in a poke. The ahrefs/moz scores are manipulated.

So yes, if you have a white niche - I would recommend using link insert in the aged post with backlinks and traffic.

I was planning to start my first set of PBNs and I stumbled upon this guide. The timing was perfect! Bookmarked!

Thank you. I also read the 301 guide (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/the-ultimate-pbn-guide.1360359/) and it helped me to better understand how to get the maximum value out of a purchased domain.

No, just seperate droplets. See OP post in this thread under #hosting.

There are a few advantages of a PBN:

  • Control over the site + content
  • Typically very low OBL
  • Ideally the link comes form the page with the most inbound links (typically the homepage) - so all of the link equity goes to your site.
  • Multi-use (not ideal, but possible)
Guest posts are also great and we use them in combination with PBNs for all sites.

One link is not inherently better than the other. Both have their pros and cons.

A very detailed guide, thank you!

Solid tip!

Hi @janist thank you for this share! I was a customer of your back in 2012-13 using your web 2 and high PR links service. When penguin 1.0 was released I got eaten alive by the algorithm! Funny you mentioned those times.

Anyway, I’m curious to know if you have a service or tool that autogenerates the privacy, ToS, cookie policy pages, or do you just have a template you’ve made and find and replace brand/website?

Also is it possible to share an example of the Web 2.0s you build for branding?

Thanks, and all the best to you!

You can find those pages generators online.
However, I think it should be spinned to have unique ones.

There are at least 10x different wordpress plugins you can use to generate those - we use those and just vary them a bit.

Two questions:

Do you block crawlers or not? If not, wouldn’t a more aggressive competitor discover it with a tool?

How soon from setting everything up can you link to your money site, some guides say wait 3 months, others say Toxicity test it with a random site in the SERPS?

All answered already.

Short shooters:

1. No, we don't. Stop worrying about competitors finding your PBN.
2. We typically wait a few weeks, but you could link as soon as everything is indexed.

Bookmarked , hence good tips mate , I would start with like few domains then scale up !

nice share,

Btw, is it possible also to restore the entire site using a service like
https://archivarix.com/
Then just create another blog directory in it?
Compared to recreate the old deleted pages?
