The Tumblr Sandbox, No Escape?

So I've messed with Tumblr forever. A few of my blogs have grown substantially and then hit a brick wall. One got to 28000 followers, but in the last 3 months has literally lost followers (only 20, but still). But each post still gets 20-100 notes on it! This blog has fallen into the "sandbox". Basically it got reported too much, or marked as spam or something. You can check if your blog is in the "sandbox" by beginning to type its username into tumblr search. I can type my entire blog's ID into search and it doesn't appear, and no posts or anything appear when I do a search.

So I know this sandbox exists, but has anyone figured out how to escape it?
