A site which competes with shopify which i wont mention is trying to knock shopify off the top. What they did was pay someone to make a method and post it on IM forums. The reason why they did this is because aliexpress shipping takes a very long time, and people will complain that shopify shipping takes a long time and thus the other site will grow and become more popular, these things happen regulary on the internet its very competitive
its a conspiracy

This is all fun and games, but....

I don't think shopify markets to consumers, they market to entrepreneurs. I know this because I am on their email list. I don't think they really care how long your shipping it takes. I mean, they do in a way, because more customers and sales for you = more money for them, but as far as some elaborate scheme.. I doubt it.

Why the heck are you so worried about shopify ... we live in a capitalist world..... the best product gets the money.

shopify is a lot bigger than to be able to make any noticable impact with this and you can't possibly think that just because the delivery takes longer than expected (you can notify the buyers beforehand on the product page), shopify will go down and the other site will rise like a phoenix
