The truth about buying SEO Packages

If you have bought SEO Services on BH from the past year. Did they work out?

Hi guys,

Back in the days, buying SEO Packages from forums like DP, Warriors, and BH was 'the thing'. It used to be working.

Does it still work now? The sad truth is, most of the seo packages on here are bombarded with fake reviews created by the sellers to bump their threads. That's the reality.

Based on my experience, as opposed to what we can do with SEO packages back then, none of these services work anymore.

What do you guys think?

*I'm talking about all in one "packages". No doubt some premium white-hat services like outreach can be different.

Of course, come on, we are not that dumb. You know my point. Obviously when you see reputed members replying the thread (review copies), those are fine. I have no problem with those. I'm talking about when a thread has 200 pages, and you can obviously see so many reviews (there's almost no negative reviews at all), and these accounts have very little number of posts.

Here is another funny fact:

Monday - Google announces 'Super Penguin Panda Update'.
Tuesday - SEO PACKAGE - UPDATED FOR SUPER PENGUIN PANDA.

LOL - Really. They took a day to update their package?

This has been going on since forever and nobody really cares to be honest. Then again, there's a fine line between "Fake" review and "Uneducated" review.

When a newbie buys a package, leaves review immediately after order delivery, when you can't simply see any results, then you should know to ignore this kind of reviews.

Newbie is happy he gets 10% off, then leaves amazing review straight away and never comes to revisit the thread to update it.
 
From my experience, when I ordered a package from this forum, as soon as the teller was done with my ordered he/she asked me to leave a feed back on their thread. But later down the road I realized his/her service didn't really do nothing to help improve my rankings. Just my two cents.
 
I have purchased som sh!tty service that destroyed my site till date and the seller asked me for positive review via skype.

This conversation always comes down to the fact, that users are not reporting shit services or leaving negative reviews.

Whether they don't care or they are afraid of their URLs being neg SEOed, who knows. But unless you people start actually leaving negative reviews and reporting shit sellers, nothing will change.

Mod has no way of determining whether the quality of delivered work went down after an initial thread review. So whatever is in marketplace is the exact mirror of BHW user base. And users have nobody else, but themselves to blame.

Both actually but most Negative SEO, copying articles, hacking, etc.

You know this is not true mate. There is a reason some people here have a protection cloak.

(won't get any details or explanations because that is useless i am pretty sure you know it anyway, don't reply to me either).

I think both can do better. The users have to start leaving honest reviews, and I don't think the users even have a problem with that. It's just the implementation.

1. The system could be better. For example, we all know there is no way you can actually review an SEO services rightaway after delivery. So there has to be a reminder / notification from a post, that will remind a user to leave a review after say '4-8' weeks after the services has been delivered.

2. For SEO services, no one should be allowed to leave a review after purchase/delivery. This will probably fix half of the fake reviews. I remember leaving a fake review once, and in just a matter of a day, my review were drowned with positive reviews from "other buyers". For some amazing reason that particular seller has got 20 positive reviews right away after getting one bad review from me.

Maybe new users shouldn't be able to post comments in the marketplace?

I mean their review, fake or not, as a member with 3 posts, and detailed as : "i bought this service, works, great seller!!" - that's not a review worth space in a sales thread, and its flooded with those.

I don't think this can be regulated in any way. The situation is even worse when you visit some sites where they post absolutely fake reviews for themselves with fake projects, photos and etc. So when you open a thread and start reading reviews in BHW you are able to distinguish fake/noob reviews by simply checking the member who left it.

I understand you can see trough them, but it just make the genuine reviews sink and pushed away, also harder to see.

Why should it be hard to regulate? just like new users have other limitations, and some forums here have posting limitations, its just to combine both.

No one cares for a review from a noob account, so why take the chance its most likely fake?

Were not that naive to think that people are opening account at free will just to praise a seller on hes BST, so why not forbid?
 
I wouldn't trust just any provider to rank my site. I like doing stuff myself, as time consuming as it is but if you have the cash for it, you can find top quality links from real sites with real traffic for a cheap price tag.

There are still people who do that and still, nothing happens. Ex: left a negative review on the sales thread and also sent the problem to a mod with examples and never got a reply back since Oct 2019. Asked for updates about that on Nov 14 and Nov 22 but never got a replied back. Asked for an update in a public thread and got a reply with a picture of an inbox with 500+ messages and said that it will take time to get back to me -> that was on Dec 6.....
 
Don't buy SEO Packages.
One thing at a times, add more of what improves your rankings and cut down the one that brings nothing. Even if the marketplace is full of useless bst there are still reputable sellers that will give you what you are looking for.
