I'm sure you guys have heard of Pay Per Play by now as this community is pretty sharp in general. The 5 sec audio ads are starting to play on the websites including one of mines. They have been playing 100,000 ads everyday for the last 3 days. That is pretty small considering that they have almost 9 million websites signed up. They currently have enough advertisers to play 7 to 10 million ads per day (including big players such as presidential candidates, top soft drink companies, top soup brands and others just to name a few), but are getting more everyday. The advertiser pays $14 cpm to $20 cpm (1.4 cents to 2 cents an ad play) and the affiliate gets 25% of that and 5% on the tier 2 and tier 3 referrals that they get. So far they are paying their affiliates $0.0035 per ad play and I've made a measly $3.88 without doing anything except copying and pasting the code on my website and putting the offer in my sig link.

The train is starting to leave the station and their are rumors that the top 5 search engine partnered with them is Google. This would be a good time to get in. If you sign up under me, I promise to give you all the tips and tricks I know to get adsense safe cheap traffic. They are expected to be at full power within 30 to 60 days from now. You can just do the math and figure that an added $3.50 cpm to your websites will make a difference in your pocket. In addition, you get 5% of your tier 2 and tier 3 referrals for life. They pay weekly, but I expect them to do their first paycheck within 2 to 3 weeks from now as it is a beta program.

They are currently sending a spider to crawl the web pages for the next 7 days to prepare for the BPA audit on Feb. 22. They are planning to scrub porn, hate and crime type websites as well as websites that use questionable tactics to obtain traffic (bots, auto surfs, etc.).

I remember when Google was talked about at Caltech in 98' as having revolutionary technology. I was in high school at the time and got into their summer bridge engineering program. I knew they were going to be something and am now wishing that I had actually bought their stock or at least options on it when they first went public. Didn't know about that stuff until much later. That taught me a very valuable lesson early on. Never let opportunity pass you by. You can't win in life unless you take chances which is what blackhatting is all about.

Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Sign up because it doesn't cost you a thing!

for blackhat throwaway pages this stuff is probably fine, but I wouldnt be caught dead using it on my regular pages...

theres no value in it for the advertisers (5 seconds of audio? barely enough to even say my URL!), after their beta test period I predict they'll loose a lot of advertisers, and it wont be a long time before they shut down..

Website viewers HATE audio, I know I do..

cash in with your referrals (if they payout!), but dont expect it to last very long!

I saw this posted on another thread the other day and booked marked it to come back to and take a look. I am trying to get started with the CPA networks and want to add this in as well, I think it's going to be big. I signed up under you and waiting to get approved.

Thanks

I didn't know that they have an approval process now. I agree that it may or may not be good for a particular site. I'm only looking at the money potential. I can create a site in 5 min and then buy cheap traffic for it. As long as it pulls in a profit, then its all good with me. We'll see what unfolds. I'm in the program, but am a skeptic at the same time. I don't like to miss opportunites though. I figure that I have nothing to lose by participating. The rumors are circulating about Google because Google's name is mentioned in the TOS of NetAudio Ads more than once. Also, the unnamed search engine tried to buyout the company, but the owner refused. Once again, we'll see.

Lamest launch I ever seen...

I don't think will be a big success in the long run, as audio ads are very annoying imo.

Well this is the official word I just got from the Marketing Director of Pay per play at their forum:

Ads played and paid for through and including Saturday at midnight are paid to publishers the following Friday.

In other words you are paid weekly (on Friday) for ads that ran the previous week up to Saturday at midnight (PST) provided that your earnings are at least $25 (USD)... If you do not hit $25 USD one week then it carries over to the next.

There are quite a few members that will receive their first payment (not this Friday) but next.

So whether you guys thinks its lame or not is of no consequence. If I can get to the $25 mark by this saturday, I'll be sure to post payment proof. If I can't get to it by this saturday, I should definitely have it by the week after. Either way people will know if they pay before the end of February. Come to think of it. I'll post someones earnings if I don't get there first.

Oh yeah mangumj: I looked at my stats and saw that you got approved, so pm me when you are ready for the info. I got lots.

Yeah, I've had this in my signature for awhile. I don't think 5 secs will drive away visitors and what the hell, it's more revenue.

Well, they are closing the door on all new affiliates on Friday 2/15/08 12 pm Eastern standard time. They said they might open it up later on down the road. So if you've been on the fence. act now.

We will cut this off at 12:00pm (noon) eastern time US GMT -5 on Friday.

The doors are closed, but I will try to put up screenshots of a payment soon.

Best way to get me to hit the back button is forced audio. The last thing that annoying was the <blink> tag...

Oddly enough I went to the website and apparently I am signed up to use this as well.. may as well give it a shot.
