The thread of the week-> month/year

It would be awesome if, any of us would have only 1 'thumb' available to give per week, to only one thread that does deserve to become the thread of the week. After that, as one month is made out of 4 weeks, people should vote with the 'month thumb', the thread of the month. After that, 12 threads should compete on th thread of the year.

Yeah, it's just a concept.. why am I even writing this lol..

This does sound like a sweet idea. This week's would be the pay with a tweet method that got moved to JV. OP was spot on with that one.

Well, if I'd had only one vote given per week, then I would really give it to the right thread. I wouldn't just click thumbs and such. This is different, so it might be interesting, but I don't think that the admins will implement this, so..
