The Small Image Next to Organic Search Result

One of my pages ranks in the top 5 results on Google but the other 4 all have a small image nest to the result too. My site is WP and i've tried to set up Schema Markup using Rank Math and left it for a couple of months but nothing has happened. All Alt text etc.. is set up but I still cant get the image to appear in the serps.

Any thoughts on what else to try?

I think I saw someone mentioning a few days ago that this has to do with either being a featured image, being an original one (ie. NOT from stock images), or that google are still testing this and it's not fully implemented and so it doesn't happen all the time. Not sure which one of this was, but I definitely read something about the thumbnails in the SERPs. If I find that discussion I'll link you to it

I've searched Thumbnail SERP and found some threads realting to this (thanks) but nothing seems conclusive. I've made the image I want a fatured image and will wait and see. Thanks
