Just took #2 for our main keyword with 18,100 exact local monthly searches. Happy days! up from 3. Outranking amazon!!

I believe the update is something akin to Panda. We have seen movements in rankings in a very simular nature to the way in which Panda was executed. Some winners and some losers. The timing was around 7th June for many sites and you either saw recovery within a day or so or in bad cases the rankings have not returned. I also have seen several 'dormant' sites reemerging in the serps to good positions only to fall away again in a day or so. Definate movements on an ongoing basis at present so as the above poster mentioned its time to hold on and hopefully enjoy the rest of the ride cos I feel the ride is far from over.....

One of my site came back to 1st page on 7th june and vanished over the weekend. Today i checked and it is on the last page of the result. That really suck. It is literally on the last page.

This is EXACTLY what happened to one of my sites which had:
1. Good unique content.
2. Good quality backlinks (not overkill).
3. No affiliate links and no linking to sites with aff links on them.
4. Good onpage SEO.
However, spam sites targeting the same keyword have moved up in the ranks. Let's hope Google makes up his mind faster because I was banking pretty good with that site and all this waiting is killing me

GG need to update as often as possible, they need to stay on "breaking news" every week to make their internet myth staying on top
Their so called quality serps are bullshit, last days I've been searching for some commercial scripts and top 10 sites were fake scripts repository build only to fill top 10 google ranking.
We should live without it, if possible, try to moving visitoris across our own network with our sites or building fellowship with other webmasters suggesting sites each other, exploiting facebook as much as possible, GG is the new tirany of the web.
However last week 1 of my sites got out of some penalty and now is getting 15/16k unique daily after getting 3/4k daily for a few months just after 1st Panda. Thanks GG!
